In what year did you last set foot on the Ithaca campus, and what was the purpose of your visit?
I am lucky enough to get to campus each year for meetings with the Library Advisory Council.

Which piece of advice or information acquired at Cornell turned out to be completely WRONG?
A 1980 computer course would be useful later.

Tell us about the most interesting things you’ve done since 1980.
I've worked at an Internet Start-Up for 19 years. Is it still a start-up?

What advice would you give to a member of the Class of 2018?
Don't worry about landing the "perfect" job immediately out of college.  Take calculated risks and grab opportunities as they come your way.

Which piece of information or advice did you pick up while a student at Cornell that has been useful in the past 35 years?
Say "hello"  and put yourself out there- you never know who you are going to meet.

Tell us about the most interesting things you've done since 1980.
Career pivots- in 2001, I took a one year Executive in Residence assignment at American University- still learning and loving it!

What are you looking forward to at our 35th reunion in June, 2015?
Ice Cream!!
